Course objectives
This course aims to provide the tools needed to design printed boards and define their requirements.
Over the two days of lessons, in addition to notions on component placement and interconnection routing, the instructor provides a comprehensive view of all the elements involved in developing a printed board — from electrical requirements to layout development principles and package selection, with the related mounting issues, through to the physical requirements to be considered in order to create a manufacturable, high-quality product.

Final exam
At the end of the theory days, a final exam with 110 multiple-choice questions is scheduled; a score of at least 73% correct answers earns the certification. The certification is valid for 2 years from the date of issue.
Who is the course for?
Anyone who designs, develops or manufactures PCBs at any level — from sales and management to procurement and quality.
The maximum number of participants is 15; with a minimum of 4 enrollments the course can be held at the customer’s site. A general knowledge of PCB-level design is required to attend the course.
