IPC currently provides four certification levels on IPC standards<\/strong> for people working in the electronics industry. Depending on their experience, staff members can be certified from the highest level (Master IPC Trainer \u2013 MIT) down to the entry level (Certified IPC Specialist \u2013 CIS operator). <\/p>

Certification gives participants in-depth knowledge, valuable for their company, of IPC standards and their correct application <\/strong>on the production line<\/p>

Only full-time, part-time or contract employees of authorized training centers can be MITs. MITs receive their certification from the IPC certification program office. CITs can be:<\/p>

  • Company employees who train only within their own company.<\/li>
  • Faculty members of education and training institutions, such as technical institutes or vocational schools.<\/li>
  • Members of an authorized training center where that person has not yet met the criteria to become an MIT.<\/li>
  • Independent consultants working with a variety of companies.<\/li>
